My Advisors Group Brand Identity
The owner of My Advisors Group was starting a new financial planning business and he needed a brand to go with his mission. He named the business My Advisors Group because, while he is the financial advisor, he will bring multiple advisors, such as lawyers and insurance agents to serve the client's needs. He looks at the client's overall financial picture and develops a plan for financial growth based on the big picture, not simply looking at one aspect, such as investments.
I started the branding process by writing after an initial meeting. At that time, I developed the tagline, "My goals. My team. My plan." Then, the idea of links in a chain came to mind, since my client is linking his clients to various advisors. The links in the logo went upward to represent financial growth. The overall brand was then applied to stationery where the chains were embossed in blank cards and on the business card.
My client was very pleased with the logo and stationery and uses the cards to send "thank you" notes and the letterhead for all written correspondence. The logo and branding is classic, yet contemporary. It represents the business well and can be used for several years to come.
